The Confederation of Danish Industry nominates five newly introduced products each year for their prestigious award “DI’s produktpris”. The products must demonstrate a high degree of innovation and also provide the user with significant benefits.

Danfoss Semco was nominated this year for the new bilge nozzle launched in 2014.

The SEM-SAFE®nozzle is specifically designed for the bilge area of the engine room. While protecting bilge heights up to 1.5 m, it performs much better than other products and offers a solution completely based on high-pressure water mist. To the crew this means better safety as the system is always ready and they can perform live tests regularly to obtain confidence in system operation.
